Z-Flex has announced a new product for gas venting called NovaVENTTM. This new product is designed and engineered for Special Gas Vent systems and it is suitable for venting Category II, III, or IV Gas Burning appliances and Direct Vent units.
NovaVENT has a patented sealing system (US patent 6-523-865) that is equipped with self sealing Double Fail SafeTM gaskets. The gaskets are designed to work with Z-Flex's precision engineered close tolerance manufacturing processes which ensure an air-tight, water-tight fit.
The single-wall venting system is tested and listed to UL 1738/S636 for use with listed natural gas or propane burning equipment with exiting flue gas not greater than 550 degrees F (288 degrees C).
Common applications for this new gas venting system include Gas Fired Tankless Water Heaters and other gas-fired Category II, III & IV equipment.
